41st Annual Contemporary Crafts Exhibition

Leaf Stack #21, 54″ x 71″

The Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum in Mesa, Arizona is hosting its 41st Annual Contemporary Arts exhibition at the Mesa Arts Center. This national exhibition features works in the areas of ceramics, fiber, wood, metal, glass, jewelry, basketry and books arts. The curator, Patty Haberman selected my artwork, Leaf Stack #21, as one of 60 pieces by 51 artists to be included in the exhibition. Haberman was the former Chief Curator at MCA museum at the Mesa Arts Center for 22 years.

The exhibition opened Feb. 14, 2020 and was to remain up through April 19th. However, due to the Covid-19 virus, the Mesa Arts Center will be closed until April 30th. Fortunately, the exhibition has been extended until August 2, 2020. If you plan to visit, I recommend calling ahead to check days and hours of operation.

There is also an online catalog of the exhibition available for you to view.
