It’s Time to Dye!

Remember the joy of opening a new box of crayons? Looking at all the colors with their sharp points, wondering which color to pick to put on the page first? Of course, the box of 64 colors was the best! So many choices.

Now, that I am dyeing fabric, 64 choices doesn’t seem like much when I have an infinite amount of possibilities at my fingertips.

Arashi Shibori Dyeing

Night Birches

You have probably been noticing Valentine’s day displays and advertisements or just a proliferation of pink and red everywhere. What first comes to mind when you think of Valentine’s Day? Roses, hearts, the color red, love, chocolate? I think chocolate is synonymous with Valentine’s. But then, I think it is for every holiday, as well! And why not? Yum!
