World of Threads Festival

As a got off the plane, I was surprised how quickly I had made it through customs. The next hurdle was trying to make my way to the train. With a little human help and some signs, I was able to board the express train to downtown Toronto. I was in the city for my first international artist reception.

Mini Leaf Stack Series

As a member of the Boise Open Studio Collective Organization, I participate in the big annual open studio event each October. This weekend over 60 artists will open the doors of their studio to the public. I will have my studio open Oct. 13th & 14th, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Field Study Series

Work continues on my Field Study series. In a previous post, I shared Field Study (O1P1) with you. It is the first piece in this series inspired by my artist residency at Playa in Oregon. New Work - Leaf Stack #22

Something has got a hold of me! Not physically, but mentally. I took a brief break from my Leaf Stack series, but have gone back to it. The muse wants to continue on this path and I think it best to go with the flow, for now.

Gateway to Imagination

There it was, sitting in my inbox. The email I had been expecting. I hesitated. A slight sense of dread was present. Part of me wanted to just leave it there, unopened. It lasted less than a minute before the other part of me said, “Just open it.”
