Field Studies at Sierra Arts Gallery

It seemed like it was up and down in no time at all. February is the shortest month, but the time my solo exhibition, Field Studies, was up at Sierra Arts Gallery in Reno, Nevada seemed to go even quicker.

At the closing reception, it was all just a blur . . . of snow. The weather might have kept some away, but I enjoyed meeting the people that braved the snow to come see my art.

Here are a few photos of the work in the space. I had a layout planned, which I gave to the curator, and there were just a couple changes due to a wall I had planned on using being unavailable.

A few days after the reception, I packed up the work and drove it home. I am hoping to find another venue for this series. In the meantime, if you are interested in seeing a piece in person, please contact me for a private studio visit.

Great exhibition Lisa! The rough concrete columns were perfect accents to your series subject! So exciting to see you moving forward with your art!
